How did alcohol become part of the discussion?

Except for the minor injuries compared to a person burned to death in their car.

Frank ****ing Clark had a Uzi in his car and got caught. That seems way worse than this

Chieftain 03-31-2024 09:19 AM

Hopefully it's only a 4 game suspension by the league.

Iowanian 03-31-2024 09:19 AM

There's no chance he's cut or anything like that if they're all minor injuries.

Overlooking a lot of potential felonies to make that assumption.

I think people hear that he ran and their mind goes there, but it's jsut as likely that he ran because they were racing.

Red Dawg 03-31-2024 09:20 AM

****ing total cowards. Wreck others and they all ran? Rice is a pile of shit like other assholes. Players are not role models.

When somebody flees the scene of an accident how would it not be?

Innocent until proven guilty, brah.

Assuming he is indeed the driver, and assuming (as it would seem) that there are no serious injuries, it’s definitely not a career ended but wouldn’t be surprised to see him miss games next season. If that ends up being the case, I’ll first and foremost be happy that no one’s lives were ruined/ended on Easter of all days (can’t imagine that). But also, looking at this optimistically, if this is an occurrence that teaches Rice a valuable life long lesson and changes the way he operates going forward, it could be a blessing in disguise for both him as a person, his career and my favourite NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs!

Parents with teenagers who drive… this happens all the time.

Vehicle is registered in the parent’s name and the kid is driving it.

Or in the case of a rich professional athlete with multiple vehicles registered in his name or being leased in his name and one of his family members/friends is driving the vehicle.

In this situation it looks increasingly unlikely that Rice wasn’t at the very least at the scene as a driver/passenger, but the scenario of someone driving a vehicle registered/leased on someone else’s behalf is common.

They aren't cutting him for a hit and run with minor injuries.

Holy shit.

Assume much?

He probably murdered someone then, too. Right?

Common sense speculation on why he would leave the scene.
