Your obsession with me is super weird, dude. Going through my post history to put on your sig is super weird. Must have struck a cord with the family beating stuff. Truth hurts huh?

Come on, you have to know by now that just isn't how Spags operates. He wants this guy to fit into the defense, which means he has to learn at least some small portion of the playbook.

And even on pure passing downs, there's a lot of communication going on, all lot of moving players and parts before the snap. He can't just line up and rush any way he wants. That's simply not how things work in Spags world.

I'm not the only person that had the same thought.

Send him out there to rocket off the edge and at least attempt to pull the LT out wide to give a rushing lane for Jones or Wharton.

The fact that Danna and Herring are getting 3rd down reps is just poor personnel management. There's no real excuse for it. "He needs to learn the system" is hubris and nothing more. It's a coach thinking his system is more important than the players running it.

To an extent it CAN be. But not when you're talking about sending guys like Herring and Danna out there to just get stood straight up.

It’s extremely frustrating but at the same time Spags was the biggest reason we were able to even make and win the SB last year with the offensive struggles.

They’ve given up more than 27 points 1 time since the Eagles SB which is absolutely insane. It’s hard to be mad when those are the results his defense is producing

Amazing how you can go from 12 sacks to being a nothing player.

JPH83 12-14-2024 12:37 AM

He's a better pass rusher than our other DEs and he should have been given a shot. Bizarre how little Spags cares for speed in the DL. Shame, a waste of resource

Then why trade for them in the first place? Seems to be a disconnect between the FO and coaching staff.

Spags tells Veach he could use some help on the DL. Veach gets him some DL. Spags doesn't play him. Doesn't Veach talk to Spags and ask if player "X" is available and Veach is interested in trading for him. Seems like a disconnect here somewhere.

Has he played for the Chiefs yet? Kind of premature to kick his arse to the curb so soon.

Right?

I mean even if you lucked into half of them that is still showing some pass rush juice. This guy is an odd case.

They gave him one game, his first week here, and that was pretty much it. He’s barely seen the field since, and I thought he looked pretty good that week. Was getting to the QB.

Whatever, you can’t argue with these guys at this point. Seems like a waste, but Spags has more Super Bowl wins as a DC than me by a pretty wide margin, so I’ll just trust him to pick the players he likes.

I’m still using Uche on Madden though, damn it! They can’t stop me from doing that!

Dunerdr 12-14-2024 09:21 AM

This is insane. I know Spags wants to crush the pocket as a group but ****. And the time that Chris Jones made him kick in to DT was kind of bullshit. I almost wonder if some egos aren’t involved. Maybe uchesaid **** that don’t ever kick me inside I’m better than you out there.

We don't know what we don't know. There are 3 practices per week that we don't see. The coaches know something about fit or like you suggested ego or attitude.

RunKC 12-14-2024 09:42 AM

The last time he was on the field Omenihu and Chris lined up at DE and Uche was told by Bolton to line up inside. It certainly feels like Uche expected to line up at end and wasn’t happy that he didn’t.

Feels like he wants to play outside bc it’s his best shot to get paid but he’s not being a team player.

Well, it’s also our best shot to get to the QB. We create zero pressure right now because we lack speed. The Tackles don’t have to do much to stop our 3rd down pressure. That’s where we could desperately use Uche. It’s a ****ing head scratcher for sure

NE let go of him for next to nothing and the Chiefs aren't impressed.

At some point a turd is just a turd.

The issue is why he can't get any snaps if the players above him are also turds. At least he adds an aspect they dont have. Hell he has .5 more sacks than Danna in 100+ less snaps and 50 less snaps than FAU.
