Hope it isn't a huge mistake by this coaching staff because it feels like one.

An idea I heard one time is if the NFL goes to an 18 game schedule is a bye week for the whole team and a bye week for players of their choosing.. For example The team gets a a week 6 bye.. But we rest Patrick, Kelce and others on week 13 against the shitty Raiders… Everyone has to sit out a 2nd game on the 53 of the teams choosing… Make for some interesting strategy…

I’d rather he sit this one out. I think Wentz can beat the Texans at home. Let Mahomes start at Pitt. Win that game and get 2.5 weeks of ankle rest.
But, he won a SB on one leg. He’s proved he can bring it home. Coaches have earned trust from our fans. They know he’s the moneymaker. They won’t gamble on his health before the playoffs even begin. |

That looks like a guy excited to play for the one seed.
|
Wait, I thought he had a significant injury? How can he be so selfish to risk the playoffs by trying to play?

Meanwhile Humphrey not practicing

Thuney and Caliendo looking serviceable might be taking some of the urgency out of Humphries pushing to come back from a hamstring.
|
Perhaps, but I saw somewhere we gave up most pressures since like 2020 on Sunday. Seemed like Mahomes had more time and didn’t get sacked but took a lot of hits. Maybe another week with that duo improved, hell maybe that is what they stick with
