No, annoying is pussies who've never been in the military using something as serious as a salute to celebrate something as relatively meaningless as a touchdown to celebrate. I was Ok with Mike Anderson, who was in the military, but when it gets adopted by a bunch of guys like Ashley it's a bit much.

A salute is a sign of respect and can be used by anyone. Ridiculous.


Personally I view it as the player showing respect to his team, the fans, and the guys he just beat on his way to the endzone. The dirty bird...LOL

I was listening to Schlereth and Diaz Infante on 760am out of Denver the other day. They were both saying that it was time the Donks quit doing the salute. Said it was their teams thing(Meaning when they were both still playing) and it was sooooooooo 1998. :thumb:
