Worked out this afternoon at about hour 22 of my fast. About to break it with a massive bowl of cooked greens.

No food since noon yesterday. Glass of skim milk last night.

I'm pretty sure all this fasting is making my stomach shrink. As in, the actual stomach. I get fuller faster now when I eat.

It absolutely will. It takes much less food for me to get into that gorged state of being uncomfortably full, and the feeling is even more uncomfortable than it used to be. I don't really like the feeling of being stuffed anymore. I prefer to eat to what the Japanese call Hara hachi bu (80% full).

Yes, it is.

Jesus. I generally weigh 5-7lbs more at night than I do in the morning. Sunday morning I weighed 290 on my home scale. I weighed tonight, clothed, and weighed 290.2. I should be down a few lbs for sure. I ate like shit Friday and Saturday and am sure I retained some weight due to the sodium content from the weekend.

But my bodybugg for the last 3 days has me at a caloric deficit of over 10,000 since Saturday night. I've weighed every thing. So there is no room for error outside of whatever the bodybugg is off, plus or minus. I'm looking forward to getting on the scale in the morning. :D

Opened a can of French Onion soup. 80 per serving, and a can is 2 servings. Ate a little over one serving, and I'm good. Added 30 calories worth of Parmesan cheese, so about 150 calories. Getting ready to drink 100 calories worth of skim milk.

Well, did Chest/triceps tonight. Really cool, last time, my working set was 170... got to jump up to 175 tonight... and nailed it... so, I get to jump up to 180 on Saturday. I have quit doing negatives, and I think it is actually helping me get stronger, faster.

Walked 18 holes and did abbs.

Between the oatmealW juice for breakfast and the hamburger on a whole wheat bun with jalapenos and pintos with jalapenos for dinner I'm well under 1500 calories for the day. I did a Diet Dr Pepper and a half which is probably unhealthy but has 0 calories. Probably had 60 ounces of water today too.

It was a good day.

Yes. I know it isn't that impressive (yet).... but I can't believe that I got five pounds more all 25 reps my first time through.

Hey man... we all do what we can.

On the flip side, I have decided that Nachos are the key to getting strong. I had a plate of Nachos yesterday, I put up more weight. Clearly, there is a connection.

The worst part is that most of the guys in the gym develop their theories of working out through that kind of logic.
