He'll be just fine in the Taiwanese league. Average player there. Should make you happy as shit when he busts in the NBA his first week and has to play in Manila for a paycheck.

You're the best KU fan ever.

I'm going to tell my grandkids about you.

Not at all. KU's resume is so good (and the field is so weak as well) that according to Lunardi we can afford to lose two more times (at Texas and the first conference tournament game) and still get a 1 seed. That's just how it is this year.

I'm sure he'll play in Europe somewhere. I wish him all the best once he goes. Of course, the best thing is that I'll never have to watch him play defense again.

"Committee perspective" meaning resume, of course, not necessarily how good they are..... 1 top 50 win based on Sagarin and easily the worst record against top 50 than any of the other top 20. At least they won 28 games last year.

Yes. They won't be seeded high at all, but they are a top 10ish team in the country quality-wise. Somebody is going to end up getting the short end of the stick there.

Not known yet about that, but it's unlikely we drop off the 1 line anyway. And really that's what you want. Anything can happen in a single elimination tournament but you want the highest seed you can get. Get one of those 1 seeds or 2s and see what happens.

Because I don't like watching one of the players on the team play defense? Give me a ****ing break.

You have no idea what being a fan is if you think it is blind praise and support for any and every aspect of a team and its players.

Without looking at resumes, I'd guess that almost every top 10 team has bad losses - but I would also guess that none of them have the resume that KU has. Not that I care too much about it, but KU has a great shot at the overall #1 barring some shit show the final 2 weeks of the season.

It's almost certainly going to be one of Kansas, Villanova or Oklahoma.

A shitshow is definitely possible with this team. They've done it before.

How can it be OU over KU, presuming KU loses one here? I guess if OU beats KU in the b12 tournament they could, but how could they justify puttin OU above KU if KU won 100% of the head to head matchups?

Yeah, glancing at schedules, I'd say it's pretty clear that it'll be Kansas or Villanova.... personally, I think quality wins say more than bad losses (to an extent, of course), so one bad loss shouldn't hurt KU when they have the better SoS by 20 spots, more wins against the top 50 and against the top 25, and Villanova being 1-3 against the top 25 in Sagarin. The same reasoning could put OU in, but of course they were swept by Kansas, so I'd think OU would have to win out and either beat them in the B12 tournament or go much further.

Doesn't matter. #1 overall seeds have gotten shlt draws before and just because you get the "weakest" 2 seed doesn't mean it isn't negated with a good 3 or 4.

Only thing that matters is not getting shipped out east or west, and its pretty much a lock that KU will end up in either Louisville and Chicago.
