I think the perry doesn't have that nasty insanity people love. He is plenty strong and is a tough ass worker. Where did that 3 ball come from? That is long hours working on that. He has a good head on his shoulders with confidence.

I still stand by a lot of my comments on Ellis. Though he's played better as of late. Can't stand soft people in the paint though and that's what he is. He's a terrible rebounder who gets pushed around in the paint. Hardly anyone on this team can really rebound though, other than Lucas (the only reason why he plays at all) and Frank Mason (a ****ing sub 6ft PG).
He's a quiet finesse scorer with touch. Sometimes plays timid. Just wish he was more physical but I guess he's never going to be that. I will say this though, the Jayhawks are A LOT better when he's draining 3's from the top of the key. I am glad he's developed some range. That seems to be his shot and Self has given him the green light. I guess I just can't stand KU not having a dominant big man. That will change in a year. Anyone know any updates on Thon Maker or whatever his name is? |

Selden pisses me off the most like we've discussed. He always leaves me wanting more. I bet Self pulls his own hair out trying to get him to just be who we all know he can be consistently. |

Perry just doesn't have the tools to he any better than an average defender. It certainly isn't from lack of effort though. (Unless you want to claim he needs to put more time in the weight room getting stronger, etc.) I wish Perry nothing but the best. I hope we can send him off with NCAA Tournament Championship game MVP. |

I'm sure it must be nice being a better fan than the rest of us disrespectful hellions, though. |

And I may have said he played soft, but that didn't mean that I wanted him gone. This year, he has gotten tougher. Not as tough as I'd hoped but I still stand by my opinion that he gives this team much more than he gives up to opponents. Perry is very valuable. Just like we tried to tell CoMo that Sasha Kaun was not the most gifted offensively, he was extremely valuable on the defensive end. |

What makes Perry such a good offensive post player is that he can stretch the defense out the 3. He's always had a good 15 foot shot, but adding in the consistency on the 3 ball has opened it up for him & everyone else on the team. It's a big advantage when you have 4 legitimate 3 point threats on the floor at the same time. Good or bad, he's the only REAL post presence we have on the offensive side of the ball & he's vital to the success of the team going forward. |

I'm headed to the game tomorrow.
I haven't been to a KU game since the debut of Josh Selby. Gonna be pretty neat to see them wrap up 12 in a row. |
