Death from normal sickness is very possible.

When they die they turn anyway
That kid looked like he cracked hid hard. Harry Potter look alike

If he died of natural causes or from anything other than the infection, it's kind of weak on the part of the directors. They very intentionally made him appear to suffer the symptoms of the virus (as we've seen with others who get bitten a en they're burning hot and then die and turn) prior to him turning. Now they're going to say "Just kidding. He died of the normal flu and then he turned!"

A deadly flu running through the close community of the prison is a nice plot, but I dislike a lame subterfuge.

Swine flu maybe? Since the oig died? Don't get how no one else saw he was ill

I think maybe its the ground from burying the walkers, the plants gave it to the pig when it ate it.

Very good theory.

Where did the 1911 that Rick found in the garden come from, or is it just a random gun?

I've never read the comics. I've watched every season of the show from start to now in the past month after some co-workers basically forced me to watch it on netflix. I have a gut feeling that Carl did not shoot Laurie. I believe he drug her body into a closet or something. I'm probably not right at all, but I just have a hunch.

Plus, that kid had to die tonight so he could go back to playing the weird dude that runs the comic book store on Big Bang Theory when Stuart is gone.

The kid was in everybody hates Chris. Lol.

I'm guessing it's a different virus, perhaps food borne or airborne, that kills people, then the zombie virus turns them. Just a guess.

Thought it was a decent episode for like, the middle of the season.

Not a season premiere.

And the placement of his death so close to him seeking water didn't seem accidental.
