LMAO

Well, duh. They'll run over a lot of teams if they play like they did Monday.

I just don't see KU over-running over Texas with Kabongo. Dude is a big piece of their team.

Trust me, I would love to be wrong and hope KU piss pounds them. I just don't see it.

I base that on the fact KU hasn't played two good back to back games in awhile.

OSU averages 6/game and they were 8/24 against KU (KU hit 9/20)... OU averages 4.5/game and hit 7/20 (KU hit 5/15). Pretty close to average for KU's 3pt% defense. Overall, the teams shot 7-10% better against KU than KU's average, which takes their overall defense from leading the country to kind of crappy, but not really because it was raining wide open 3s.

kep my name outa u mouf

I don't foresee KU running UT out of the gym.

Why are people so scared of this guy? He averaged less than 10 points a game last year and every time I watch him play he kinda sucks.

Because he's better than the trash (Felix whatever) they've been trotting out there.

He's a ballplayer.

What does that have to do with anything?

I'm not saying KU will do anything. If you can lose to TCU, you can lose to anybody.

But if KU plays well, they'll win and they'll do it with ease. Kabongo isn't some kind of Marcus Smart-like difference maker who would alter that. If they don't, it will be a close game. You could probably use that analysis for just about every game they play, I think.

Right.

I get that KU should beat UT pretty handily assuming KU plays well for the second game in a row.

However, I am a little reluctant to assume they'll do so after their three game losing streak and abortion on the road against TCU.

I am hoping the game Monday was a big eye opener - letting these guys know what they're capable of.

And I don't consider Kabongo to be a Smart-type player who can take over a game and score at will. But he does play well and makes his teammates better, like a good PG should.

And keep in mind we were getting beat most of the game in Austin with Felix at the point in Austin.

I'm hoping the game Monday is a jump start to some better play like the CU did for us in December. The losing streak hasn't bothered me as much as if it would have all happened near the end of February leading in to March. Get on another roll for a month or so now.

I'm in 100% agreement.

I hope the big Monday game propels this team where it is capable of playing.

But, I do have my reservations.
