I think they should play the AFCCG in Mexico City the day after a Shakira concert.

An added game on that shitty field to increase the possibility of losing players for the SB? No ****ing thank you.

Bearcat, based on the timeline the Dr's. gave yesterday, this outcome isn't a surprise and had a higher chance than a negative outcome when looking at similar cases where an AED and CPR was used quickly. The NFL allowed the Bills to avoid resuming the game. If Damar had passed or his situation was grave with little chance of surviving, then maybe this path should have been explored, but they knew on Tuesday that his wasn't the case and a positive out come was more probable.

Until you get injured the week before the most important game of the season. That’s why.

It's weird how the NFL is bending over backwards for Buffalo when their own rule book says it should be a forfeit..

If you aren't gonna follow your rules why do you have them?

But only if it’s fair and we don’t get penalized for basically forfeiting. Want to have a great story? Take your ****ing loss and win the whole thing with the rules in ****ing place.

I didn’t say that at all. Everything I posted in real time was and has been shown to be exactly accurate. Go back and read it if you like.

So it starts. All the Bills favoritism because your boy got injured.

Chiefs vs the world, baby. **** all ya'll.

If you refuse to play playoff games will the NFL give you wins? Appears to be Buffalo's best strategy.

They're the NFL's favorite losers. They even changed the OT rules because they felt bad for their sorry asses.

Fellas, we are spoiled as **** by that stadium. I know they're talking about building a new one, but they oughta just build THAT again someplace.

I always enjoy the road fans coming in and sitting near us because they are universally in awe of this place by the middle of the 1st quarter. Or some schmuck that hand-waives it because "hey, I've been to The Swamp to see LSU...."

When the noobs come sit near us it reminds me a bit of how normal the experience has become for me. It's why I like to get to road games when I can to remind me of how special the place is. I've been to over 100 games at Arrowhead now; the shock/awe is largely gone. But I need to be reminded at times of how perfect the joint really is and how spoiled I've become by it.

But yeah - it's totally unreasonable that I should be chagrined by losing an AFCCG there. I mean it's not like my favorite memory of a sports fan is being in the stands and watching them hoist the Hunt trophy after beating Tennessee or anything. Hell, I'll always remember that Patriots loss. (The Bengals loss didn't happen).

As a fan, this is a kick in the dick. The experience of being there is simply being taken away in some ridiculous attempt at unearned 'equity' for a team that had the ball in their court and elected to walk away.

For those that don't make it to the stadium often, I can see how this could be much ado about nothing. For those of us that make that journey every weekend, this is absolutely bullshit.

theres nothing more that needs to be said here. The only thing I add Is that it also ****s other fans of other teams like cinci etc.. and makes the rules a joke. but just this little piece of this is one part of why this whole process was ****ing lame.

They could have played Thursday and their next game on Monday. If the Bills win both they have a bye so they don't have two short weeks in a row. That would have been the fairest and easiest way to do it. Cincy and Balt play on Monday as well. But noooo!

From an authoritative source:

Quote:

Calvinball has no rules; the players make up their own rules as they go along, so that no Calvinball game is like another.

Rules cannot be used twice (except for the rule that rules cannot be used twice), and any plays made in one game may not be made again in any future games.

My feelings exactly... I love Arrowhead and the newbs each week near us say the same things... I love me some Arrowhead...
