Three months of the 80s. I had a little over 3 years of the 70s, but I don't claim them...lol.

*psssshhhhhh*

Breaker breaker 1 9. We've got ourselves a cougar. I repeat, we have snared a cougar.

Over.

I'm certainly on the thinner side now but that's the way I want to be (and I'm certainly not rail thin).

This does give me another chance to complain about the stupid BMI chart though. Technically, at 195 I am overweight.

"For your height, a normal weight range would be from 144 to 194 pounds."

CDC BMI Chart Link

If I were rail thin I could probably drop down to 170-175 ish. How does anyone consider 144 "normal" for a 6'2" man?

I don't think it's considered cougar until you hit 40. I have a few years left of "admiring from a distance" before I make my move...lol.

I'm 5'7", and 144 will be about perfect for me. I can't picture a 6'2" man being 144.

I prefer mini-cougar to dwarf leopard.

Nobody with a brain uses BMI. It doesn't take body composition into account.

I use bioelectrical impedance to get my body fat %. Started at 44.4%. Currently at 34.4%. Aiming for 25% for now.

ThaVirus 04-25-2014 11:26 PM

That's impressive. I've been keeping up with your progress in the fitness thread.

I've never used a legitimate machine to take my body fat percentage. We had those bullshit machines that supposedly sent electrical signals through your body from your hands (or some shit) and usually got around 10%. That was back in high school when I was "rail thin" though. If those were accurate, I'd guess I'm around 16-18 maybe now? Who knows..

That's what this is. You enter your weight, height, and age, hold it in your hands and hit start.

Oh, wow. So those were legit?

LMAO I never thought they were. I just thought they were some bullshit they gave us in gym class to keep us busy.

You have your own or use it from a gym? Are they expensive?
