Give him a couple of more years and maybe he can get that walk number up.

It's just that baseball doesn't market their players for shit.

Which is what I was tryin' to get at.

I personally think Moore is an idiot if he expects to win now, but I guess we'll see. I still think he's expecting to make chicken salad out of mostly chicken shit.

Keller
Junis
Duffy
Kennedy
Fillmyer
Lopez
Skoglund

Do we think a couple of those guys that don't make the rotation can be upgrades in short relief ie Wade Davis.

I don't know if I'd be too optimistic about that. The only one might be Keller and there's zero chance they take him out of the rotation. Guys like Skoglund and Fillmyer seem like starters to me with their stuff. That is really the key though. If Dayton wants to have a better team he has to fix the bullpen. Not even cyborgs but just guys who give you a fighting chance compared to the Maurers and Boyers.

Duffy and Kennedy have potential to be top shelf relivers but I doubt they get taken out of rotation.

Keller, Junis and Fillmyer are locks to start IMO.

He also needs to avoid giving up first round picks for clowns like Kennedy.

What? How often has he done that? Once, and that was right after we won the World Series. I think that's about 379th on the list of things to be concerned about.

IMHO, not even close. This team has turned a corner from bad to decent. Now if they continue to take another step next year, then we can compete in the Central.

It appears we may have found a few more gems in pitching, some of the young talent has had a chance to play and can focus on what to do next to get better.

I am optimistic with the future.

I know I’ve been out of the baseball loop this year but Josh Donaldson is on the Indians?

He's been hurt most of the year, even when the Indians traded for him it felt like taking a chance on a guy who's hurt... but it looks like he's going to be ready to go for the playoffs.

Adam Moore of the Rays just hit his first home run since 2012 ... when he was a Royal.

Al Bundy 09-28-2018 08:42 PM

Man, Tim Hill sucks balls.

tk13 09-28-2018 09:02 PM

The Brewers just took the lead in the bottom of the 8th over the Tigers when Ryan Braun hit a ball to the wall... Tigers RF got a glove on it, but it popped up and out of the glove, rolled along the top of the fence and over for a HR. That's going to be on all the highlight shows tonight.
