ROFL. My kids are more aware than you will ever be, I'm certain of that.

More aware of what? What you think? You've educated them to believe in this stuff?

Radiation levels at damaged Fukushima-Daiichi nuke plant are continuing to rise... Radiation 1,000 times higher than normal detected. Ministry official: 'Possibility of radioactive leak'...

Here's a map of the tsunami waves caused by the 8.9 quake. Wow...

I'm not "blaming" per se, just saying that that possibility can no longer be overlooked. What was once only possible via mother nature, is no longer the case.

No. I educate them to seek the truth, be honest and respectful... and to also be caring of all creatures not just other humans. And to realize that we are all connected... everything is made of protons, neutrons, electrons, gluons and quarks.

And that NO ONE is better than you because they have more money, stature, education, etc... and you are better than no one.

I teach them to be the BEST THEM, that they can be... and rise above petty things that don't matter.

Treat others how they would like to be treated. And so far, my kids are amazing. So, they are doing fine, and quite well rounded.

Think for yourself. Be unique. Be a leader and not a follower. Even if people think you are reeruned, stand by your beliefs, but remain flexible. And to eliminate hate. And give love and be love.

;)

I wonder how they were already able to ascertain that a gash in the crust 150 miles long and 50 miles wide? This quake happened deep beneath the surface of the Pacific Ocean, right? They've already got subs down there? Secret gubmint radar scanner?

Nothing wrong with that, as long as you don't teach them the crazy stuff.

Mother****. The industrious Japanese people will be able to rebuild the damage their nation suffers when all is said and done, this however, is the worst case scenario.

No, an exposed core/containment dome failure is worst case. As long as the dome holds.

OK, fine, but I was talking about any kind of radiation leakage, you're talking about the degrees of the leakage.

Well, yeah. But there's a big difference between another Three Mile Island and another Chernobyl.

The emergency diesel generators on that nuclear plant have been badly damaged. The multi-reactor Fukushima atomic power plant is now relying on battery power, which will only last around a few hours. The danger is, the very thermally hot reactor cores at the plant must be continuously cooled for 24 to 48 hours.

Without any electricity, the pumps won’t be able to pump water through the hot reactor cores to cool them. Once electricity is lost, the irradiated nuclear fuel could begin to melt down within a few hours.

If the containment systems fail, a catastrophic radioactivity release to the environment could occur. The result would be unimaginable, the plant is the biggest nuclear facility in the world.... and it was built in 1971. The biggest and the oldest. :doh!:
