I also realize that if he was currently a Raider he'd be compared to JaMarcus Russell around here, so excuse me if I don't buy the hype until he's actually, you know, played a game.

No one is trying to sell you his hype.

We are saying that if he gets cut, he will be picked up by another team.

Tyler "effing" Thigpen is awful. That is our point. He is awful, and he was picked up after being cut.

He is worse than Bray. And it happened to him. So it could happen to Bray.

Everyone is telling you that you are wrong, and you continue to sound like a fool with each additional post.

Oh no, everyone on ChiefsPlanet is telling me I'm wrong, so I must be.:doh!: Excuse me while I laugh.

OK, I'm back...

IF Tyler Bray gets cut by the Chiefs (which I doubt he will), it is not a closed case he will get claimed on waivers.

I just see that 32 teams saw fit not to draft him (seven times) so there is a higher probability that I'm right in saying they don't want him.

Except that is the case for every UDFA ever. And yet it happens every year with worse players than Bray.

Which is why people, en masse, are telling you that you are wrong.

The Jags wanted him, so why wouldn't they grab him if he became available?

Tyler Bray.

Most popular acquisition of the offseason.

Fan favorite.

There were 3-4 teams that tried to sign him, and he chose KC because he felt it was the best fit for him. He'd definitely be claimed if not put on the active 53.

I'm late to the convo but all autographs should die in a car crash ASAP. They're ****ing pointless.

End of story.

That would be alright.

We are first in the waiver order, so we would get him if we claimed him.

mcaj22 07-25-2013 08:59 PM

yea he would be great depth/insurance policy for many different scenarios.

So, was at camp as players reported again, and the same group was there again. Alex Smith was coming back from the cafeteria or somewhere. The group all wanted his autograph, without even stopping he grabbed just one football and proceeded to sign it while still walking. One of the people in the group said "hey Alex, how bout a picture with my son?" Alex very rudely said "oh, alright, but make it quick!" And then proceeded without signing anymore autographs. What a prick!!

They all said, "we'll, he's a prick, but I still think he's the answer and he's gonna do great" I can't even make this shit up, I actually stood there and did an actual facepalm.

Prediction; by the end of camp, Bray will be the #2.

BossChief 07-25-2013 09:27 PM

These guys are on tight schedules. He may have needed to get somewhere. He did the photo and saying that he needed to hurry doesn't nessesary make him a jerk.

If that makes Alex Smith a bad guy, Tony Gonzalez (almost never signed for anyone) is the Devil and Larry Johnson (signed after almost every practice) is the virgin Mary.
