Ugh. This is the stupidest argument and it keeps getting repeated as if it is some sort of truth. Is asinine because it's said by people simply thinking it gets under the skin of KU fans.

It falls in line with those dumb "stupid person is stupid" posts.

Going to the season opener on Saturday. I don't expect much but hope to see improvement in the coaching. KU lost a several good players on that defense. Heck, I think I read the other day that they only have 4 starters (offense and defense) returning from last year. In a way that's good but we lost a lot of experience. Beaty is starting from the ground up.

Lol at KCnutbag for thinking that hoops isn't a sport that matters.

Yes they did. They lost more players to the NFL than schools like TCU.

It will be a challenge this year.

I just post revenue numbers and then fans from all the "football" schools flip out.

It's hilarious.

No wonder they have to pay Nike for gear.

How is that even possible? ROFL

Small private school, obviously.

Their combined basketball and football attendance was only 387,364 last year...lowest in the Big 12. Kansas had significantly more at 467,455.

LMAO

You really are an innumerate idiot.

TCU's stadium holds 45k. Our season tickets are sold out. Individual tickets for our decent home games are pretty much sold out.

Our basketball teams played in a community college gym last year because our basketball stadium was being renovated (another thing that severely constrained capacity).

Oh hey look, here's us playing against weak ass sand aggie (who's still way better than ku) and our stadium is full.

Here's people sitting in GA since our baseball stadium was full.

But hey, you can get a coupon to watch ku play a top-tier bible aggie team. Such awesome attendance.

and here's ku vs. texas tech.

TCU played in the Peach Bowl last year.

It was the first time in 17 years the Peach Bowl didn't sell-out.

When your brand is shit, your brand is shit.

TCU sold all of its allotment for the Peach Bowl. It's not our fault that hicks in Georgia and from Ole Miss didn't buy their share of tickets because they didn't want to watch us stomp a mudhole in Ole Miss.

What was your allotment? Like 100?

The same as Ole Miss' allotment (17k).

That was a strange matchup. Big 12 champ against SEC #5.

Just to back up what I said earlier, I found the pics of the home opener in 2012. This was the first game under Weis and it was against South Dakota State.

Prison Bitch 09-01-2015 11:02 AM

Big 12 standings:

Football record: KU 9th
Football attendance: TCU 9th

TCU fans performed about like the KU football team.
