Forgot to say congrats on kicking our asses Saturday

Wanted to say that was a fun game to watch! It's nice to see the panthers winning. You guys came out like men on a mission. Now if the Pens can find a defense somewhere, and a goaltender that doesn't choke, we are in good shape!

You guys got the Preds a few weeks ago as well! Good rebound getting the Pens in OT.

Kind of surprised they didn't drop it at all. They must be not buying the "woozy" excuse at all.

I read yesterday that the official was held overnight at a hospital for observation. Bettman also referenced a text from Wideman to a teammate in which he showed no remorse and was essentially blaming all this on "stupid" refs and the media.

Bettman added that he was troubled by Wideman's "total failure to accept any responsibility for his actions." He noted that while Wideman made much at the appeal hearing about apologizing to Henderson, "The sincerity of those apologies rings somewhat hollow, given the text message he sent to a teammate on February 2 -- after the conclusion of the hearing before (vice president of hockey operations Colin Campbell) -- that 'the only problem and the only reason I'm here is cause the stupid refs and stupid media.'"

He also scored on Lundqvist with the first shot of his NHL career, when the world thought WTF is this guy?! ...kind of crazy he wasn't drafted.

Two thoughts:

Brian Elliott is amazing. And should be the starter until he stops being amazing.

Agree. Allen was the starter, but Elliott has been lights out lately, you gotta keep riding him. When are you changing your name? I'm sure it has been discussed, but I'm not on here much anymore.

I haven't really asked for a name change and don't know what it will be.

I'm loving the new OT rules for hockey. Change is rough for a long standing sport but they actually got it right this time.
