I'd like for you to prove to us that Wilson is receiving $31 million this year, as you claimed.

Do you know what a signing bonus is?

Dane, answer 1 question for me. Just 1. All I want is a dollar amount. Nothing more, nothing less.

If Seattle cuts Russell Wilson after the 2015 season for non injury related performance issues, how much money will they have to pay him for 2015?

Answer that for me.

Hey Dane, can I get an answer brah!? In number form only. Thanks.

Apparently, you do not.

He's receiving $20 million this year, not $31 million.

Definitely not an expert. I just know he has a 99.9% chance of making the Seahawks in 2017 which guarantees him $57M to play QB in 2015, 2016 and 2017

Why don't you tell us how $31 million equals $20 million?

By the way, I never, ever claimed that Wilson wasn't receiving $31 million as a signing bonus but YOU CLAIMED he was receiving it all THIS YEAR.

Why won't you answer my very simple question?

If he's cut immediately after this season, how much will the Seahawks have to pay him for playing on their team in 2015?

Just answer you ****ing coward.

Wrong.

I scoffed at those implying Wilson signed a 5 year deal with only 31.7M guaranteed. Because that's a lie. It's impossible for him to only make 31.7M unless he only plays 1 more season in the NFL and is cut for performance reasons only.

If you interpret the contract that way, the only POSSIBLE way for him to only make 31.7 million is to be cut after the season by the Seahawks for performance reasons.

This is fact. How do you argue fact?

Which is still far less than what other QB's have recently received.

But I'm sure you're unaware of that because your reading comprehension is clearly at a Pre-K level.

I dont think anyone is arguing that he'll make 31.7M if he's cut. I don't even know how that helps your point. Every player would get their full guarantees if they were cut. If Houston were cut after this season, he'd get more money than if Wilson were cut after this season. Cam Newton would get 31M if he were cut after this year.

My point is, to say he's on a 5 year deal with 31.7M guaranteed is impossible. Literally impossible. It cannot happen.

Once again, there isn't a single person that claimed anything close to your saying. You're just moving the goalposts, once again.

And there's still this gem, in which you've repeatedly failed to address:

He'll definitely sign the biggest contract ever. No shit. This $31.7M guaranteed you're tossing around is hilarious, though. He makes that THIS YEAR, alone. So it's a 1 year, brand new deal if that's really how you're looking at it. You do realize that, right?

Please explain how Russell Wilson is being paid $31.7 million in 2015.

Hootie 08-03-2015 08:35 PM

I'm sorry, Dane. He gets $20M in a week, and another $11M in April. My fault, dude. I guess you pwned me because Seattle is giving him two checks to cover his signing bonus 8 months apart.

It's a five year deal with 31.7 guaranteed no where close to eighty, and you sure were hung up on the that 60 million guaranteed this morning...

Wrong Dane

Hootie 08-03-2015 08:42 PM

I still find it funny Dane refuses to answer my question
