why is no one talking about the route combination? Literally only one viable route option to throw against cover 2 and it's a low percentage post 30 yards down field...

The Browns have THREE second round picks, including their own... Even if the Browns just traded their own pick away, that beats Jacksonville's second rounder by a mile and still leaves them with two second roudners |
Yep. Cleveland is the spot for Smith. The defense’s arrow is pointing up and if Smith does one thing good....it’s getting a bad team to average pretty quick.
The Browns can send us the #33 and a 4th rounder for him and I’d be happy. |

Of course, maybe Veach doesn't want to help Jacksonville too much.. |

I'll take just the texans pick that the browns now have....(4-12 record).... |

Part of the problem is , is there any team willing to offer more than the Texans 2nd round pick (that the browns now hold)...If that answer is no, then I think we are going to get 1 second rounder..or actually even LESS...unfortunately edit: yes, 2 second rounders would be really great...but HIGHLY unlinkely ....... keep in mind we might get the Eagles second round pick and a 4th or soemthig like that (the browns have the eagles pick too)..The browns have a TON of options and picks |
Alex Smith helped us bring the team out of a cesspool of losing and turn it into a regular playoff level team. He also just played well in the 2nd half of the season to increase his trade value. Veach should be able to get our two 2nd round picks back in trade for Smith, maybe more.
Thanks, Alex Good luck with your new team. |
