I'm not sure how many mocks Tamba Berry ran before this, but this is one of the reasons I'm so staunchly anti-LB in Round 1.
If you take anything but DB, DE, or WR in round 1, the options get pretty, pretty slim by the end of round 3 unless you move up. So if you run a straight draft and take a player at a position of less obvious need, things get dire in the third. |

Bucs run to the board while the clock ticks into negative figures and select....
....Nah, wouldn't do that to ya. Fire when ready, Gloucester. |

Okay, now the Bucs come to the board.
I mean if they're gonna let the whole damn RB room walk, I guess this is a pretty obvious selection (even if it also seems they've let...pretty much everyone else walk) The Bucs select: Kenneth Walker III, RB - MSU Kid can really run the football. There's actually a fair amount of Fournette in him in that the passing game will be a work in progress for him but something I think he'll pick up in relatively short order as he's a good, powerful athlete who's willing to be physical. So neither Pass pro nor pass catching should remain a problem for him. |

The problem is I can't rank these damn TEs at all so I struggle to even figure out what their talent level is. Meanwhile I feel like I have an alright handle on several other positions that I CAN lock into a 'BPA' sort of approach. So I know I'm messing it up - there's probably a TE I should've taken by now. I just can't get a firm answer so I don't make a decision at all. |

I thought for sure you'd grab him for Buffalo here. Really nice combination of need/value for them. Their attempts at building a running game have been scattershot at best w/ the Singletary/Moss duo. |

Guessing they hadn't done it yet when we were up at the beginning of the round because it sure seemed like a pretty pressing issue at the time. Obliged sir. |
