Tom got majorly lucky without Bill too, though.
He went to a really good roster, casually loaded it up with his future HoF TE and WR buddies, had his defense bail him out in the postseason against the Saints, and then the Chiefs offensive line died two weeks before the Super Bowl. Not to mention the weird shit with the Packers not going for it on 4th down inside the 10, Britt Reid, and the lopsided officiating of the Super Bowl.
No dynasty for Tom without Bill. They never even made it past the Divisional Round after that insanely lucky SB run. |
