My thoughts exactly. Can't imagine this not being a surprise to Andy and Veach. They had to think he'd be our starting LT as long as he was healthy.

Not surprising honestly. The Cardinals (or any team) wouldn't give up on a LT unless they thought he's not worth it. Teams keep the players they like. When we get someone's leftovers, we should assume there's something fishy. He's 31, but that's not old for that position.

He can be a depth guy if things go amiss in these playoff games. They can move Thuney back to LG if necessary and plug Humphries at LT.

It makes sense. For the first time all season, Mahomes looked pretty comfortable in the pocket against Houston & Pittsburgh with Thuney at Left Tackle and Hollywood Brown on the field.
