Claymores really make a difference on extending killstreaks, and the rate of fire of the TAR-21 really makes up for my general lack of accuracy. I swear, though, the knife is the most overpowered weapon in the game.

If it's accuracy you're worried about, i would go with the ACR... i love that gun.

ACR is the best gun in the biz. Nigh unstoppable in HC.

Played some 2 vs 2 at my house last night. a few buddies came over... you can really tell who plays the game more.... i felt like a nerd... everytime i dropped harriers, helicopters, etc.... and they didn't have a kill in the game yet..... couldnt believe they played as long as they did... i would get pissed after getting tactical knife'd for the 300th time or hit with a sniper rifle in the head while running.

The 3 vs 1 at the end of the night was fun though. If they actually had a plan, i wasn't seeing it... they grouped themselves together like idiots and i kept mowing down groups of them....

at least until they did finally realized that grenade launchers were their best strategy... all 3 would randomly start shooting at me when i got close..... and they kept the game close(er).... so i made the switch to close quarters and they were worthless with the launchers...

Damn fun stuff... gonna have to do that more often.

Yeah, that sounds like fun. All my friends who are good at FPS got the **** out of the state/country so I can only play with them online (mainly just 1 guy). The ones that are here are all either into racing games or sports games and are complete ****ing gimps when it comes to FPS. LOL.

Had a game like that a couple days ago. Like 4 out of 6 on the other team were RPGing & such....my entire team switched to n00btubes and did nothing else the rest of the match. We won in the end, next match was better.

I lent this game to my Dad about 4 months ago and he never returned it. Wondering if I should have him mail it back to me (He lives about 100+ miles away) so I can trade it in before Black Ops, or just hold onto it for future play.

My bad man. I should have just asked you if you wanted to play Black Ops or something but I got pissed. I got back on 5 or 10 minutes later and you just signed off.

There were two guys in the game using UAV hacks. They weren't in the lobby in the first game we played. Two of the guys on that team basically had a CONSTANT Blackbird, they can see you in real time running on their minimap. Modern Warfare 2 is a hacked POS. The lack of a prestige emblem next to a persons name is a dead giveaway of a guy using hacks.

I prefer Black Ops but it's fun to jump back into MW2 and remember the fun times I had.

I still play MW2 on a regular basis with my friends. IMO, it's still better than Black Ops and MW3 combined.

MW2 map 'Favela' removed from rotation due to insensitivity toward Muslims

Today’s Call of Duty news is not so much news as it is a case of over reaction hyper sensitive nonsense. Infinity Ward, the developers behind the “Modern Warfare” series has gone and done something rather ridiculous. They have removed the map “Favela” from the play list in Modern Warfare 2. Reason being, a Youtube video was released claiming religious insensitivity toward Muslims.

Apparently, a Muslim gamer has been offended by a picture frame hanging on the wall of a bathroom in one of the buildings included in the map “Favela.” Yes, you heard that correct. The picture frame in question has the Arabic term “Allah is beautiful and he loves beauty.” The “scandal” comes into effect when you look at the location of the picture frame: Above the toilet. This Islamic sin has apparently caused such uproar that the entire map has been removed from the play list rotation.

No, this is not a joke, and it raises some ridiculous conflictions in rationality. For one, the game’s core mechanics, the structure it is built off of revolves around which team can mass murder the other team quicker. On top of this, the more murders you perform in a given time with out being slaughtered yourself gives you the ability to murder your opponents quicker via a predator missile, air strike, or an AC-130 gun ship. Hell, if you’re a good enough murderer in the game, you can even Nuke the other team into submission.

So tell me again how a picture frame is a cause for concern here? If anyone recalls, this is the same series that constantly goes for shock and awe. Be it slaughtering innocent civilians at an airport or watching a little girl and her parents get blown up by a road side IED, the Call of Duty franchise has always been one to push the boundaries. Furthermore, both previous scenes were subject to much debate and were left in the game for the soul purpose of artistic freedom, regardless of the complaints. I have no doubt that this may have something to do with last months "prophet" Youtube video that cause an uproad, but really? It's not even a real bathroom.

You should be ashamed of yourselves Infinity Ward. If not for giving in to such hyper sensitive nonsense than for at least telling us all these years that One Man Army, Danger Close and n00b tubes won’t be patched because you don’t have time. You had time to cater to the minority today, now how about you fix the game that has been broken since day one. What does a guy need to do for this to become a reality, make a Youtube video about it or something?
