We need a wideout. Too thin to hold up all year with how we’re structured now. Pat’s exposing himself too much on the run.

Frazod 10-20-2024 05:46 PM

Strahan busting Brady's balls was really amusing. LMAO

Remember Week 1 after Niners destroyed the Jets on national TV? They were supposed to be invincible. Now they piled up 4 pretty quick losses. Not looking so invincible now, San Fran.

They need CMC back by the playoffs.

I know injuries happen to every team so this isn’t a completely realistic scenario.

But imagine this defense paired with the offense we were supposed to have (Brown, Rice, Pacheco).

Goodness.

I got destroyed on here during that 9-0 start because I kept telling people the defense sucked.

Well shit. Another reason we need to get a WR or make a move for CB or LT to compliment that loss. It will bring the defense down a notch. We can do it with anyone back there but Nazeeh Johnson isn't it.

I wonder how any other QB in the league would be doing statistically with the WRs he has. A real mystery indeed.

It's not bashing when you call the best player in football history "Putrid Pat" during a 6-0 season coming off B2B SBs? It's not bashing when you whine about meaningless touchdown/interception statistics that almost entirely have to do with the subpar offensive personnel around him?

Again, this won't end well for you.

Mahomes is doing what he needs to to get done with a skeleton crew, most teams would be 2-4 with what's happened to the offense.

He's doing enough to win games and that's all that matters for the purposes of winning a championship.

You have some bias going on. We all do. Everyone says how bad Brady is right? A fraud. When Mahomes was slanging it you were not a QB wins guy. Now that he's playing poorly Statistically, like Brady sometimes did, and winning....you are now a QB wins guy?

Chiefs4TheWin 10-20-2024 07:08 PM

A lot of convo about Pat. He's not throwing the ball very well. Is it him? Is it the personnel? It's a bit of both in my opinion.

I saw him throw a ball over the middle directly to a linebacker who was sitting by himself for an interception. In fact he's had a few "WTF" interceptions where it looks like he just threw it up for no reason.

Then there's tip drill hell where it's not his fault at all. WRs falling over etc.

Either way the passing game is crap. We all know it. Hopefully we can fix it.

Three TD drives above 70 yards today for the Chiefs on the road against a very good defense. And the “freebie” TD drive from 30 yard line after Hardman’s punt return. 28 points should be good enough to win a ton of games. But everyone demands 40-50 points or it’s a major failure.

Man, that seems like odd coaching. Criticism should be done behind closed doors. I think Shanahan should be going after his defense for allowing 28 points to an offense with a totally wiped out receiving group.

Of course I have bias going on. I'm a Chiefs fan who hates Tom Brady.

Doesn't change the fact that I'm right and you're wrong about Mahomes.

What am I wrong about? Mahomes is an all-time great. He's also not playing like it. Some of that is due to his weapons but I don't understand why it is so taboo to say he is playing poorly this year.

He is.

No great coach would ever dress down his QB in front of his players. Might happen more than we think and explain why his QB's always underperform.

He's a dick. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Whatever ends up with SBs for Mahomes and the Chiefs, that's what I'll be.

Ok I’m thinking Watson is gonna be a high ankle, and one of those Twitter Dr.’s seems to as well

Andy said they’d have an MRI tomorrow, but X-Ray would take care of breaks so I’m assuming they’re just gonna verify ligament damage (ie high ankle)

So he could definitely be back in a groove by the time we need it most
