2021 Jones was making the transition to end and those two white losers were playing too many snaps on defense.

There were a lot of defensive talent issues early that year and Baltimore caught us at the right time.

I don’t think people really remember how bad the defense was for the first half of 2021. It was terrible. We couldn’t defend the run, the pass rush was nonexistent, Sorensen was obviously bad, and Mathieu was clearly making business decisions. Not to mention guys like Mike Hughes getting playing time.

What’s wild is that if Andy doesn’t turtle it on the Ravens 35 and CEH doesn’t inexplicably fumble on the last drive we still win that on a walk off field goal.

36 points in the one game against "7 nation army Lamar" is not owning the guy in any shape or form. Point stands. 28 in a game at Arrowhead as well

Not really. The overwhelming evidence is that he doesn't win many playoff games...

False. Our run defense is fine when it needs to be.

You mean like when we needed the ball back against the Raiders, knew the run was coming, and gave up a 43 yard run to all but seal the deal?

Our run defense is what keeps us on the field for 7-8 minute drives.

That is an outlier.

And no, it's not. That's when the third-down defense fails.

The Chiefs run defense SHUT DOWN Miami's running game. It's fine.

Did you even watch those games? Spags destroyed Baltimore's offense in the game in 2019 before they racked up a bunch of garbage time drives.

2020 was a clowning.

2021, talent issues, not his fault.

Spags will put clown shoes on Lamar again.

Lol, oh come on. that 2019 game BAL scored just 13 points until the 4th quarter. It was literally 30-13 until 12 minutes left in the 4th. Their last 15 points were during garbage time when the game was already essentially over. And at least one of those BAL TDs in the 4th was almost pure luck.

let's not conflate their final score into more than actually was.

Pasta Little Brioni 01-05-2024 12:12 PM

Point stands. He didn't shut him down. We'll need playoff Pat

Bowser 01-05-2024 12:15 PM

Spags seems to do his best work against mobile and athletic QBs.

The concerning part is that Lamar has actually morphed into a respectable pocket passer.

The last time we played Balt they looked unstoppable, but Spags has had success against him.

We’re going to have to beat buffalo @buff first

I'm going to laugh so hard if the Bills lose to the Dolphins this weekend. Either the 2 seed or out, that's wild.

72 career win percentage. It's time to respect the guy...

First half of 2021, our defense was historic levels of bad. Like worst looking defense in decades levels of bad.
