He very easily could be.

But he won’t be yet. There’s a lot more to 3rd down play than running fast. And he’s simply inexperienced in it.

Maybe he’s a natural but if he’s on a standard development arc he’s your basic 2-down thumper.

If we hit on one of the 6 picks we have left, like say a RT, we could have six rookie starters next year.

I guess you blitz him like Parsons.

No I’m not saying he’s Parsons but you aren’t using him in coverage.

McDuffie is probably the only one that is gonna get listed as a starter...Karlaftis is gonna split with someone, Moore will see slot time, the rest are likely role players.

One thing is for sure: they are drafting alpha’s. True badasses who are confident in the right way.

No more Honey Vadger business decisions and fake confidence. We’re drafting guys with confidence and talent like Nick Bolton.

From Justin Reid to these draft picks. We got younger, faster, more talent and more attitude.

This was so lacking in previous years

I was assuming he would take Bolton’s spot as Bolton takes Hitchens’s. Gay also takes Niemann’s coverage snaps.

Am I off base?

This defense will certainly have a certain toughness that we’ve lacked in years past. Can’t really be measured, but you know it when you see it.

Exciting stuff.

Hunger, there was a lot of complacency from the previous group with all the winning.

Karlaftis will start. Chenal will probably be starting in the base package. Cook may or may not start. If Skyy is one of the top 3 receivers I consider that starting.

In the presser just now, Veach just said he wants to be able turn the 5th into a 4th if he needs to. Spent a good minute on it.
