Nuggets almost had the 'easiest' path through the playoffs that's feasibly possible.

8 to 4 to 7 to 8

If the Clippers would've beat the Suns it would've been 8 to 5 to 7 to 8.

Definitely, but they've clearly been the best team all season long.

Just pointing out doubt we see something like that again for a long time.

The fact that no East team (or any team period) has been able to go to the Finals back to back since LeBron left for LA might say something about hard a feat it is to actually do. And yet, LeBron did it 8 years in a row.

Smart move from him. That dynasty is finally at an end thankfully, the Lakers put the final nail in the coffin.

Boston fans will find some way to make this about them. Most of them at this point have no memory of a time when there wasn’t a single bad team in their market for a full year let alone longer. The worst they’ve experienced is disappointing late playoff runs.

Even with refs in this back pocket for 2 series straight.

Their football team is the very definition of mediocre. Now watching their hockey team set a NHL record for points only to get bumped in the first round by a team that in all honesty should not have made the playoffs, along with their NBA team losing to a team that finished 6 games over .500 and was an 8 seed is spectacular. Two series losses to two 8 seeds. Love watching those douchy fans suffer.

The Warriors will just reload and come back stronger next year.

I think it says the East doesn't have a dominant team or 2.

8 years is row is crazy good. I know a guy that probably does that and wins 8 straight finals if he doesn't retire. Now how good is that?

Nah, they're done. Steph can only keep them afloat for so long and his time will soon be over for good.

If somebody was able to win even close to that many times in a row, I would suggest that might say something about just how bad the competition was in those Finals. As opposed to, say, the KD Warriors, the greatest team ever assembled.

Miami benefitted from injuries to Giannis and Tatum at key moments. Luck is part of making a deep playoff run. I think the Nuggets are clearly the best team in these playoffs no matter who they faced.

Then you are basically saying every team outside the Bulls were trash for a decade. Bold move Cotton

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-30-2023 03:44 PM

The Nuggets are the best team since the 2018 Warriors. The 2020 Lakers are the only team since then that could give them problems.
