Exactly, lol.

That's an interesting question - have the Chiefs ever drafted a consensus Hall of Fame player so decreed by the posters around here?

There was a ton of Willie Gay love here last year.

I wasn’t here during the lead up to the 2017 draft but I get the feeling that most of the board wanted Mahomes just from seeing the stories.

I remember there was quite the DeShaun Watson faction here as well. People loved Mahomes' arm and stats in college, but Watson was a national champ and played against defenses better than what the Big XII had to offer. That's why we're all making our selections on this website and not in an NFL war room, apparently. :D

Yeah, good call.

I can’t see Niang, who was a 4 year starter at right tackle, being penciled in as the LT.

If things go “right” and they get their left tackle in the first round, I think the battle for right tackle comes down to Remmers and Niang, with Niang winning the spot outright, leaving Remmers as the Swing Tackle again.

I could also see Remmers start the first quarter while bringing Niang up to speed.

I think he’s better at G too but could play RT. I don’t think he’s a starting LT at the next level.

Chiefs kicking the tires on Okung.

I’d strongly consider a $4-5M deal plus incentives.

I just don’t see the downside of this. Even if it ends up being a depth move.

He played at 280 lbs. The knock on him was that he needed to put on weight. He showed up at the Senior Bowl at 300 lbs. and looked great in 1:1 drills.

This feels like the slowest second wave of free agency ever. Like there wasn’t even a second wave at all.

Guessing teams are waiting until the draft ends mostly now.

#Chiefs are bringing back WR Tajae Sharpe, source says. Was on their practice squad at the tail end of last season

This happened with the DL when we drafted Chris Jones. There’s going to be a stud fall simply due to volume and teams not needing that position.

Yea looking like the plan was let's go all in for silverbitch and if not oh well we got a deep draft to get our guy.

I think Gay can make several big plays a game. I just never saw him as the do it all eraser that teams covet.

More a specialized chess piece.
