Right now KU has the #1 SOS in the country. Area schools of note have an SOS of 61(Wichita State), 67 (KSU) and waaaaay down at 88 (Mizzou).

But yeah... we haven't really played anybody.

In looking at the box score to see just how bad Perry was (and he was pretty awful), Embiid was actually pretty incredible today. 12 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, 5 blocks with 3/5 FG and 6/7 FT. All in only 26 minutes. What a special player. If he managed to stay on the court a few minutes longer today, it's probably a win.

Joel was great. He was doubled all game and kept looking for Perry and Wiggins to cut to the hoop. They never bothered.

What a historical turd of a weekend. Lol.

I'm not worried, we have the whole conference now to learn to be a team, play team defense and work on the offense.

By tourney time, not many teams will be laboring to play us!

Get ready, probably at least 3 more before this team realizes they can play defense and together.

The good thing is, with the Chiefs season being over...it can't get much shittier than this.

Did UK play the toughest schedule in the nation?

UK was 9-4 last year as well with games against Maryland, Duke, Notre Dame, Baylor, and Louisville during that period. Their schedule was a beast, but they didn't have a win on the level of Kansas's win over Duke. They were shaky but competitive against good teams early, hit their stride in the middle of the season, and collapsed late after Noel went down.

Kansas may or may not win the Big 12, but they aren't missing the tournament...even if they lost Embiid and Wiggins. They have a better roster top to bottom.
