Apparently this rando account was the first one to post that he was in the hospital. People are speculating that maybe he knows someone at the hospital that told him. Weird when a rando breaks the news like this.

Damn, that sucks. Hope he recovers as well as possible from this. Basketball is obviously going to be secondary for a while for him. And I hate to say it, but it may even accelerate his retirement.

If this was going to happen, it’s best that it’s at the end of the season. If it isn’t too serious, then you have to think Self will find a way to be ready for the big tourney.

Then he has all offseason to make whatever life changes he needs to make.

He’s an Andy Reid type imo. I don’t see him wanting to hang it up and take it easy.
