Wright is expected to miss the entire 2024 season due to shoulder surgery.

The Royals will control him for 2025 and 2026 after that.

If Kyle Wright was dead this is still a good move. Kowar sucks.

ChiefsCountry 11-18-2023 08:12 AM

Got to think the new scouting director was behind the Wright trade since he drafted him in Atlanta

Of course the Braves will turn him around.

So really all I could find was Johan Santana, but do pitchers come back from this Torn Capsule injury and be effective? Or do they come back and suck?

The brewers really are gonna let Woodruff simply walk? That's odd.

Feels like Missouri is gonna fock around and the royals will end up in Kansas. Could have probably landed the speedway in Platte County with a stronger push. Not sure why people think it's a good idea to just let the team walk away. You guys definitely aren't whiteboarders...

Milwaukee didn't want to pay him 12 million in their final year of team control and not pitch.

Because no one is interested in footing the bill for this bottom tier franchise and their douchebag owners vanity project? This really isn't complicated at all.

I don't knpw what will happen, but at lest they finally got the site right...The Star building area is the only reasonable location, including Kansas. The Legends is not an option.

Next to last in the standings
Third to last in attendance
Worst farm system in the league
Owner that won't spend

But yeah, let's pour literal billions into their coffers.

Yeah but they're less than 10 years removed from winning a title and being at the top of the heap in TV ratings and a bunch of other stuff. This isn't a Tampa Bay or Las Vegas situation. When they're winning there's a ton of money to be made.

The Chiefs are probably going to suck in 15 years when Mahomes isn't there anymore. Should we not build them a new Arrowhead? Because the reality is they aren't going to be what they are now for most of that new stadium's life. Nobody's going to make a billion dollar business decision based on what's happening right now.

This is why they need to build a stadium soon, so Mahomes can christen it.

Literally NOTHING suggests they're going to be doing any winning even well into the foreseeable future. And as has been said time and time again, baseball isn't even in the same echelon as football. The sport could very well be NHL/MLS level or worse if the owners **** around and don't find a viable alternative to RSNs and there's a prolonged work stoppage next CBA.
