It would be sweet if they bring the blonde "innocent" guy back, but have him changed to a man of complete evil.

Have him blame Rick and Carol for his girl's death, and take some revenge.

I wish Daryl would have pulled a "Tombstone" and grabbed the dipshit's Beretta and beat him over the head with it.

I kept expecting Daryl to push him off of the roof after he took the guy's gun.

He should have. That guy is a liability.

He is. But that's where I sort of have the problem with it. He shouldn't be as much of a liability as the show is painting him as. Yeah he's an alcoholic, but to make it so he had to take liquor over meds was unnecessary when he could have easily stocked up on both. Then nobody would really need to be mad at him for wanting to get drunk in a post apocalyptic zombie world. And for the guy to reach for his gun when Daryl was about to toss the bottle was just off. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of alcohol in this area. For someone who just 2 episodes prior was able to see an entire wall full of booze and pass on it but then defend one bottle like it's his baby is just weird to me.

I agree. The scene was off to me as well.

Except that it would have been totally out of character.

Daryl is #1 Alpha Dog with this group, but when he gets back to the prison he turns into Rick's little helper.

Hopefully Carol's exile will piss off Daryl and get some conflict going.

Daryl is an enforcer, not a leader, imo. I think he recognizes that about himself and probably comes from years of living in Merle's shadow.

ABSOLUTELY! hey Rick....why don't you kick your psycho son out too for shooting a surrendering kid in cold blood.

IMO.....it's a bitch of a world they live in and shit happens. I don't have a huge problem with what either of them did...Carl or Carol. I mean...it was pretty cold and all....but....it's also understandable.

Being an alcoholic is absolutely a liability in the zombie apocalypse. When you're impaired, you're not on point. Making you a liability. Hell, Tyrese was a liability due to nothing more than anger and frustration. Daryl's reaction was definitely justified.

The thing that got Daryl up into Bob's face was him threatening to draw his gun if Daryl thought about throwing the bottle.

Also, while the shelves are loaded with booze, the opportunities to get to those shelves are few and far between. Not to mention life threatening. The difference between him wanting the booze enough to draw on Daryl now, as opposed to when he set the bottle back down, is thathe now also has Zach's death on his hands. Whether or not you view it as his fault, he blames himself.

Just a thought.

Wasn’t their father a physically abusive drunk? Pretty sure I remember a confrontation between them when Merle found the scars on Daryl’s back.

Yeah I think you're right on that one.
