I'm hoping the Royals add a starting pitcher or two...they desperately need to. Right now they are getting outspent by the ****ing Reds.

Coming up through the minors, Hampson had real promise as a hitter. He hit .300 or better at every minor league stop with low strikeout rates. His .326 average was second in the 2017 California League batting race.

The jump to the majors proved to be a real hurdle for him. He strikes out too much for a guy who doesn't hit for power.

The Royals lineup is literally full of utility/role players.
