No he doesn't. He is already 32 and still considered by most everyone outside the LA area to be a few notches below Mike.

And Jordan's include 2 seasons playing for the Wizards at 40.

blah blah blah. He's the best closer this game has ever seen. He's one of the all time greats. He has won 4 Finals on the team i grew up watching.

I have seen my lakers win about 9 championships in my lifetime. what more could a Lakers fan ask for?

oOoh, i am only 33 years old as well. There are many more coming! wuwu.

MJ was also still a pretty damn solid player in his late 30's. Kobe is in the discussion with career comparisons but I agree that outside of Lakers fans he doesn't quite measure up.

He sure was, but obviously his numbers diminished as he aged and skewed his averages downwards a bit.

Not as much as Kobe's two developmental years coming off the bench. However, if you compare career numbers throwing those two years out, Kobe just isn't there.

Don't even mention some of the referee'ing that went into some of those earlier championships! It will really set them off...

And don't include a few where he could've been playing in his prime, and potentially winning even more Championships, but elected to take a baseball sabbatical instead....

Don't blame us. Blame the guy who said otherwise...

This isn't a Pats fan complaining about calls is it?

You have no point here Jordon got as many calls a anyone ever. At least Kobe doesn't have to shove people out of his way to take the winning shot. That was a no call BTW.

One more thing, I said he had a real chance but that was assuming things continue to run smooth and he keeps winning championship. Obviously if his career ended today that would not be the case.

Then he will be more of a compiler. He will not suddenly get better than he is now going forward.

He continues to evolve as a player. The way he has played the last two years with the constant physical problems is nothing short of amazing. Funny you would choose to use compiling as a way of dismissing greatness when it has been used as the entire foundation for establishing Jordon as the greatest ever throughout this entire thread.
