I would have liked a better record, as this team is too talented to not to be playing below .500 ball. That horrendous stretch of May really hurt this team, yet, we're what, 4 or 5 games behind first?

KC really needs to find a big bat to help produce runs. See the 8th inning, bases loaded as an example, and KC failed to get a run in.

So last night I met Jeff Montgomery, he was walking to Rivals for the postgame show. My body just locked up for some reason, I said " Nice to meet you" shook his hand, awkwardly smiled and walked away. He said " Thanks buddy"

It's funny because my concern was the pitching still wouldn't be good enough to get over the hump. Instead, if this team had any offense at all they'd probably compete for the division. At least Hosmer's starting to hit.

They looked primed to drop that one but I'm glad they won. Fun to watch last few innings.

IMO if we even went right below .500 in May we would be leading by 5 games. Thats just 'bro'-math off the top of my head
