I thought about offering my amazing Ted Popson jersey but it's possible we might actually have a #48 on the team this year so will hang on to it.

Jenkins' speed is worthless since our QB only throws within 10 yards.

Since the question has come up several times since I posted this, I thought I'd unbury it.

Found this for Salary cap implications:

The 49ers dump Jenkins after just one season -- a rare development for a first-round draft pick. The team gets rid of his guaranteed salaries the next two seasons of $705,797 this season and $1.021 million next season.

Baldwin's salary of $1.061 million for this season is fully guaranteed. However, Baldwin's scheduled 2014 salary of $1.274 will be paid only if he's on the team.

That means the 9ers in all likelihood just saved themselves $700k. I don't think Baldwin has a shot at making the team.

The chiefs on the otherhand have a guy that maybe they can fix vs a guy they have completely given up on.

Jenkins can't get off the line of scrimmage. He is perfect for Andy's system completing passes behind the LOS.

I don't know. I'd hope they give the guy(Demps) that returned one for a TD a shot first.

Like DJ said earlier, there are ways to get aroun not bein able to get of the line. Hopefully Jenkins fits better in the wco than Baldwin cause it wasn't pretty
