Okay, I went to the Lexus dealership today. I can fit in the new Lexus RC 350. The F model has the wings on the seats that come out too far and pinch me. F model doesn't work. This one will be driven when I get back to Florida. $50K price tag though.

Good looking car (except for the grill, IMO). So, you didn't drive the RC 350 today? How was the interior compared to the BMWs, besides the seats?

Interior is very similar. Looks to be the same market. The seat width as a little tighter. There was a bigger emphasis in LED and a more modern luxury look.

One big difference is the height of the seat. I had to lay way back in the seat to make the vision level work. Since I always drive "laid back" not an issue for me, but could be for others.

This is the first year for this car so there are no used vehicles or history on how well it holds up or if there are known issues.

I didn't drive it because I would back home and I'm kinda of busy with work stuff.

I've got two guys back home trying to find me a 335i with the regular seats with the options I want.

Would! Know what sucks? When you can afford that, but it's just not QUITE the right decision right now.

Vroom dude.

Not really sure of your point here.

Man, I'm sure that car is hot as ****, but I'm not a fan of the console/gear shifter/radio portion of the dash. It looks notably 1980s.

That being said, it probably wouldn't preclude me from buying it.

Looking through the cars you have on your list, I'm quite certain you will be happy unless you get a lemon.

I'm jealous. :)

Totally agree on the dash. Couldn't put it in words but you did perfectly, 80's all the way

Retro homage must be paid in all new sports cars that hit the market.;)

I was going to say at least the cup holder is in the right place, but with the navigation thing right there, it might not be the best spot.... maybe BMW was smarter than I thought in that regard. :hmmm:

Better/worse headroom? I was surprisingly pleased with the 235 headroom.

The 235 had worse headroom than the Lexus RC350. But, the 335i had more headroom than both. Not even close.

Maybe you have an overly large head.

I didn't notice a difference in the 2 and 3 series (meaning the two was good enough so the 3 could have been better and I didn't notice), but I think I'm an inch or two shorter than you, so I was just happy my head wasn't brushing up against the roof when I was sitting up.
