At least we know whatever Self did wrong is only the equivalent of destroying a vacuum cleaner.

This is why its a bit surprising that KU is doing anything. They've had their heels dug in for years, all of a sudden self-imposed penalties. (Wrist slap penalties, but an admission nonetheless)

Exactly. They were the victims in all of this. Just like they'll be the victims when ncaa responds

I can only imagine how many national titles Self would have right now if he got the favorable calls that K State always seems to get.

Yeah when they named that octagon out in Manhattan Allen Fieldhouse West you knew they were gonna catch all the breaks.

The refs are the only reason that Self hasn’t already shattered all of Wooden’s records

Which makes me think this isn’t “self-imposed”. I wonder if it’s a deal they worked out with the NCAA behind closed doors.

It’s either a deal that was worked out or they are putting some real pressure on them to come to a deal. Something like this had been rumored to be in the works for a while.

I feel like that's half-assed attempt, though. Auburn suspended its team from the tournament for a year.

Because Auburn knew that team sucked anyway. Self is never going to allow KU to do that.
