Figured this might happen with all of them injuries to outfielders this spring training. Bradley is good insurance and can play center at Kauffman

I like Jackie in the outfield. Can we DH for CF?

That was my first thought as well. At least it is a minor league contract so perhaps it is just to add a little depth and kick the tires in spring training to see what he has. The past regime would definitely have him on the ML roster and playing 150 games while contributing a negative WAR.

This will be a good test to see if the new regime is truly different.

Astute observation dillphayg

I will not be happy when the 110 loss Raytown Royals are giving ABs to jackie bradley junior instead of our young guns

Royals are awesome in Spring Training, a lot.

2022 - 8-8
2021 - 16-8 1st in cactus
2020 - 9-12 not good
2019 - 18-11 1st in cactus
2018 - 16-13 2 gb from 1st
2017 - 17-15 2 gb from 1st

We play really good in spring training and then we suck butt in the regular season.

Of course Scherzer is going to be the one to figure out how to use the clock to his advantage. Hitter only gets one timeout now so he forces him to use it, then waits on him to step back in so he can attack.

**** it, I like it.

Baseball was played at this speed in the 70's and 80's and there was nothing wrong with it. Not sure when anyone who has watched baseball or cares about the past has any complaints about the pitch clock. It's getting the speed of play back onto what used to happen. The game evolved to be slower and it isn't needed.

Like this just a regular game from the 1985 season. 2 1/2 hour game. The last 30 minutes is the knock off SportsCenter

Remember when douchebag Dane said this was the worst trade in Royals history and it destroyed our team lol. We gave the Reds trash.

In Dane's defense, he was very rarely correct on any of his hot takes. He just delivered them with only the gusto a blowhard like him could and would yell at anyone on here who disagreed with his usual shitty takes.

heh...that old Twins stadium....so awful.

Looks like a zoo, with the big round windows behind home plate.
