Hard to see the Royals moving with local ownership including people like Mahomes. My guess would be Kansas throws money from Garden City all the way to Mission Hills at them to move to the Kansas side

Mahomes has million of reasons for the Royals to relocate to another metro.

The only other play for the Chiefs may be for the Royals to get a deal elsewhere and the Chiefs would get it passed and get all the funds... It will be interesting.

Laura Kelly is popping a bottle of champagne as we speak. IIRC this possibility was brought up when KS was legalizing sports betting.

Assuming a spot by the speedway would be idea? I know no one wants to even think about a new stadium, but it’s happening
