Hold my Beer!
Going to make the ethereum/dogecoin/?? plunge today! How do I start? What are the best practices? What should I do and not do? Keep in an online wallet or a hard wallet or under my mattress? Thanks! |

Also the hard wallet is the safest but holding your money in big, reputable exchanges like Coinbase is not nearly as risky as some would have you believe. |
Doge-ick Thomas 58 cents...(now 60)

Just signed up with Coinbase and invested $50 Ethereum...enough for today. Will read more tonight and learn before the investment numbers get bigger, say $2K. Already, looking at a used Cirrus SR22T to purchase with the investment proceeds from today's investment. |
Bitcoin doesn't look too great here, could be heading to 43K

It's going into Doge. When Doge cools, BTC will pump back. |

Doge is profit taking every day at this time for profits before Europe and Asia wake up. Good buy time.
$.56 is the new floor. $1.00 this week. It will crash hard at that point before returning and beyond. |

Average the ranges. But yes, I'm off a bit. It's a rather thick floor at the moment but EMA is well below SMA but flattening and is closing so you'll see it thin out. Then pump (negative SMA pressurewill slow it, which is awesome). Pull the graphs back just 1w for an illustration. I'm monitoring nightly 10pm(phx) and midday dumps and dips till Thursday (and $1 price) till Thursday increasing my stack. Then hold till show time. No skit? I convert to BTC. We are buying the rumor. Meek Mill bought 50k worth of doge. - eDoge. |

$.63 and it's not even Wed yet! How high do you guys think this shit is going to go?
|
I'm riding it to $1. It will then dip very hard. What next depends on when it happens and the reaction. It might just blast right through it so I wouldn't set up an auto profit. Just tune in and monitor it closely as it hits 90. Things will really heat up then.
Word of warning; heggies have entered the market. |
|
Still own zero Doge. Have a bunch of LTC though. Lift off. And won't have to burn it in a month like Doge.
|
At this rate it might blow past $1 before Friday
|

@ $.75. Maybe one more time at $.69 but I think we blow through it this time. Americans like 69. With my fees, I need a healthy drop of at least $.02 to break back even from a sell. As fast as this is moving, its real hard yo catch one. I'll see how it looks approaching $.75. |
Dropped to 52 briefly and currently at .56. Perfect time to get in...
|
LTC is one of those coins that I've never had luck with it, but it's been dominant the last couple weeks.

UPDATE: I guess Dash has really fallen. That would actually be my crappiest coin I hold. Should probably get out of that and put in in Chainlink but that requires me to use some piece of shit exchange. |
Asia has dumped daily gains at 10am EST for 2 straight days. Huge dips.
$.60 --> $.51 $.64 --> $.52 These Asia sell off dips are your only opportunities to sell high/buy low. Testing tomorrow morning to recoup a bad decision earlier at $.588 ($.577 to break even). Other attempts will ruin you this week as the volatility range is to tight and consistenly rising. Probable correction today and a great price to jump in. |
Ok I just bought like 16k Doge coins so I can be like the rest of the reeruns. Looks like got it at .62.
Since I'm in on it, guarantee it will tank to .30 by this weekend and to .08 the week after. |

Stellar is doing well. I wonder if it will crack .70. If it ever breaks $1.00 I will be a happy camper.

Safemoon is starting to take off. I wouldn’t advise buying it unless you know wtf you’re doing though (if at all)

My 10k dogecoin I bought at 0.03 is looking very good right now. I'm not tight on money so I'm planning to just hold it all

I’ve been trading DOGE since last July. Made quite a bit from it, currently 7300 shares @ .40
I’ll be in here for a few years if not longer, buying dips and stacking coins. |
So what am I doing wrong?
I set up an account on Coinbase on Monday/Tuesday: Invested $500 each in Ether, Chainlink, Cardano. $400 in BTC. Here it is Friday morning, and I have not yet doubled my money. How am I supposed to retire by the end of the year to my soon-to-be-purchased luxury villa? All tips and tricks appreciated! :) |

I'm new to this and investing in general. Just started a Coinbase account. Haven't bought anything yet. I'd like to have $10,000,000 from like a $50 investment by end of month. Give me some tips & tricks to reach that goal.
But really, I am new to all this. Any advice for someone just starting out? |

Anyone that wants to get Dogecoin super quick set up a blockfolio account. I think it's like .50 fees and you can trade almost instantly.

For instance in my situation, my current average buy in price for Bitcoin is around $49k. Its sitting at around $57k right now but in the last week it's gotten as low as $52k. If I wanted to buy more I'd wait until it got near that again. It may or may not, but it likely will at some point. Ethereum has drastically outperformed bitcoin so far this year. Obviously nobody knows or can predict if that will continue but most experts seem to think so. My average buy in price for it is around $2k, it's currently sitting at around $3500. It has gained 64% in the last month while bitcoin has actually dropped about 1% during the same time period. Does that mean both trends will continue? Likely not...it's more likely that bitcoin will get back to it's high of around $65k in the near future than it is for ethereum to gain another 60+ percent. It's probably smarter to invest in bitcoin if you're looking for quick gains but if you plan on sitting on it for months I'd go with ethereum. Or you could wait for nice dips and buy in equally to both. It's very unlikely that you'll lose money in either, long term at least. |

ETC is performing directly inverse of Doge. So if you attempt to sell a top, store it in ETC. Watch hourly movements closely as that's your decision point.
Top of this hour should see a retrace if not in 7 minutes. Coinbase Pro's fees will eat you alive. |
Quote:
|
Wait for a retrace. Here at the top of the hour or in 2 hours.
It's moving fast and is oversold but consolidating a bit so you may have to wait. |
HOLD!!!!!!!

I don't know. Consider Japan just came online and expected to profit take. As is happening now. I'd buy in at next top of the hour as long term moving averages are trending down. Right on schedule.
|
On Wed when Doge dropped to .50 there was crazy support that shot it right back up to .63 within a couple hours. Once it gets up to the upper .70's or so and consolidates there will be the same kind of support at .69. This is a coin that started as a joke after all, and well over half of it's investors are millennials/gen z's. There will be a LOT of people with buy orders set at .69. In other words, buying in now at or below .69 should be worry-free from a taking a loss perspective. At least through SNL tomorrow night.
Would you agree with that assessment eDave? |
.69 double tapped last time then fell off. I expect another tap then push through. Repeat at .75.
Volatility rangebis expanding fast so lots of opportunities to sell high buy low.. on the hours. Store your sells in ETC to gain your fees back. |

It's consolidating as it rises right now. Nice managed incline

So does one approach Cybercurrerncy investments as day trading timing and flipping; or as buy and hold? Is it better to buy BTC at 57K and pray it goes up to 100K or buy numerous alt coin at 25 cents or several dollars and hold them till one of them goes to $100 or $1000, etc. What approach works for you? |
Quote:

After this dies down, I'm back 100% to Bitcoin. Think of BTC as your crypto savings account. Spot trades from there.

Yeah I have about 20k spread between Bitcoin and ethereum. The dogecoin is just for fun prepared to lose all of it
|
Here comes 3rd attempt at $.74. If it doesn't go through, it will dip and wait for the US to re-engage.
Do not be fooled by these $.02 -3 swings. Day trader traps, set to break even, bots for the whales (Robinhood). They are healthy. Shakes put the faries. Likely dip coming, Mahomo. I'd get in top if next hour. May be wrong. Don't take rando internet guy advise. At this point, Im just waiting for $1 to sell it all and reasses. |
Crypto is so silly. Im glad I bought a tiny amt of Doge the other day but I hate it. Just think if I put all of it into Doge when it was at 0.03 and ride the joke.
|
Sold all my Dogecoin last night at .72 hoping for a drop and got back in at .65. Now to the moon.

Is ethereum worth buying on the dip? I’ve got 3k free and need to do more research but what I read about Ethereum sounds really good
|
OP is likely very rich.
Congrats chiefrocka. You saw this being real before many. |
So a lot of people think all crypto is going to tank tonight, not just Doge. Not sure why but seeing a ton of it on Reddit.
