I've been thinking about doing a reset. I'm getting to the point where I can vape continuously and not get overly high.

Depending on your body composition and your metabolism you can reset in as little as a couple of days.

The more body fat and the slower you metabolize the longer it takes.

I have even read about people that have an abundance of body fat and when they go on a diet and lose it quickly they feel slight effects of the thc being metabolized as the amount of fat is reduced.

For me if I go two days I notice a significant difference with tolerance. A week and I am almost back to when I would consume only occasionally.

Interesting side note, though. I actually DID feel high for a period of time during my surgical stuff. I lost about 100 pounds total and even though I held off smoking during that period, I still felt the effects for quite a while.

Bought weed legally in Missouri for the first time yesterday.
Buddy took me for a ride and we went in.
Gave them our id’s and went back to check things out. I thought it was a well run shop. Tablets on the counter to pick out what you want. They go back and get it, ring you up. Very helpful and had an ATM there.

Friend spent about $200, and I bought 1 joint for $15 that I cant remember what kind it is (short term memory loss) but I just brought it home and dropped it in the ammo box with the rest of my stash. I’ll smoke on it later.

I have not been to an Illinois dispensary yet. When we go out west I bring enough home for the year.

IL has pretty small out of state limits so we go 4 or 5 times a year. Depending on where you wanna go it’s a 2-3 hour drive. The best place we’ve found is Peoria - just big enough to have 3 or 4 options. That’s a 3-hour drive for us but we usually stay overnight so we can buy twice before coming home.

Crazy. I literally just order shit on an app like door dash and have the most fire shit delivered to me in 15 minutes while I scratch my balls.

If I lived in IL, I could do that. But I live in the bizarro Bible belt. We do order online ahead of time but pickup is our only option.

I was talking earlier in the thread about how sativa landraces aren't commercially viable because the amount of time in a flowering cycle needed to fully bring them to maturity. When you have a these real landrace 'super sativas' taking up to 20, 24, 30 weeks of flower. That just is no go from the start when you need to flip rooms every 6-10 weeks, strain dependent of course.

You can find those landrace genetics still. I wouldn't be buying seeds from any breeder that they say is landrace however. To get the real old landrace sativas like Michoacan, Oaxacan, Colombian Gold, Panama Red, Vietnamese Black... you will need to get deep in those hills and valleys where those old F100+ landraces still reside.

I quit 4 times to have babies and tested positive for months. Thc is stored in fat cells so an educated guess is that the less your body has, or the faster you metabolize the fat, the faster the thc will leave your body.

But also, tests have ranges. Its entirely possible to test positive but be under the line. I always counsel steady gainful employment over drugs.

I would say it's just the run of the mill piss test. I've passed them in 3 days before but i was in my 20s at the time. I doubt I would get fired for one THC positive but I don't know 100%, and that's why I haven't taken any of the gummies yet.

I'm pretty sure that no one is claiming that marijuana is a cure all, but speaking for myself, I prefer to manage my pain with a plant vs whatever pill big pharma is pushing. Hell, most of their snake oils side effects are worse than the actual ailment. I've watched countless family members be sucked down big pharma's wormhole. It always starts with one med, then another to help the side effects of the first pill and so on. Marijuana shortage leads to soaring prices in Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Things are getting high in Missouri for cannabis users in more than one way!

Less than two months into recreational pot being legal, there’s already a marijuana shortage and that’s leading to soaring prices.

It starts with cultivators not being able to keep up with demand, moves down the line to manufacturers paying more for what’s grown, and ultimately leads to higher checkout totals at dispensaries.

Missouri initially predicted around $50-60 million would be spent on cannabis. Now, we’re looking at $100 million being spent. We have eight bordering states, only one of which has legalized recreational use. So, demand coming in from outside of the state was not factored in and supply is suffering. Upwards of 40% all dollars spent in the KC area have been from Wyandotte and Johnson counties in Kansas.

So, how much will prices increase by? You can expect at least a 50-60% hike on most products. For example, a blunt pack that used to cost you $35 could cost you closer to $50 or $60.
