Yup, which is why I think Denver ultimately wins.

They should as they are the better team. They are getting one of the easiest opponents they could get for this finals. I will say that Butler is a beast and Spolestra is an underrated coach. I would not be shocked to see it go 6 or 7 games.

You clearly missed the tweet about their respective competition in those Finals from yesterday. The clear implication there is that some titles (i.e. beating a 73 win team coming back down from 3-1) are worth much more than others.

What is this 'inventing titles' talk?

He thinks both LeBron and KU didn't win titles in 2020 because it was the COVID year. Bizarre logic.

Greater, yes. The argument is "GOAT." If you want to have an argument about "BOAT," that would be completely separate.

Sassy Squatch 06-01-2023 01:41 PM

KU didn't win a title in 2020 though. They aren't recognized as 2020 champions and Kansas doesn't even claim to be 2020 champion's

Because his dumbass thinks it actually happened. I even gave him the Bubble Bron win that many don't think is legit either

Oh and what 2020 national title ROFL ROFL

He also posted a link with a green check mark for LeBron having 4 titles over Jordan's 6. He's sick in the head. Hence inventing titles.

KU finished #1 in the AP Poll in 2020, did they not?

Better start taking away football championships from NCAAF programs for nearly a century then, I guess.

Huh? They aren't recognized in any official capacity or claim to be 2020 champions. That's a pretty laughable apples to oranges comparison you pulled out there.

How is it apples to oranges? In the absence of a postseason tournament in football (which is a relatively new invention), NCAAF teams who were at the top of the polls were considered national champions for nearly a century.

If you aren't recognizing KU in the same way for 2020, you better start telling those schools to stop it.

Pasta Little Brioni 06-01-2023 01:47 PM

Good lord that's pathetic ROFL

In rules that were well established before the season. The season was canceled in 2020 as the tournament is the only thing that matters in deciding a champion.Burrito Bill doesn't even acknowledge it. Sorry you lose

Sassy Squatch 06-01-2023 01:49 PM

That gives them credit for their accomplishment. Finished #1 in the AP poll. Great. That's not how the NCAA determines champions in basketball and even the School knows that. Hence why they don't claim that as a championship season.
