Does this surprise you? His iq is a solid 3

Given this game means nothing..KU has already wrapped up the XII title, and the tourney starts at the end of the week, yeah, I can see the possibility of it happening. It's like a little gift to the kids at Ames because we know how much it means for them to win meaningless games.

Anything we can do to lift the self esteem of a group that's not going past the first round of the tourney...

NCAA home winning streak means nothing?

Lose a senior day game? I don't know, I'd be pretty surprised.

I couldn't remember the last time it happened and that's because the last time they did lose one was 1982.

He says that about every team. They know they can be a great team and can beat anybody, some have just struggled adapting to a new coach who makes them work hard. Plus losing Naz Long kind of limited bench help.

They're not a great team, Rust. Sorry. ISU couldn't guard a slight breeze if their lives depended on it.

You're right, they aren't. They could have been, and should have been. But losing Naz messed up the depth. McKay and Cooke had a rough patch with the new coach.

The talent and potential is still there, and it's not too late to pull it together.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Iowa State won this game(again), or lost by 10+.

But I'd say Kansas is due for a loss.

I'm an idiot because McKay says they can beat anyone? Or because Iowa State still has the talent that made them one of the top ranked teams to start the season?

Don't act like we didn't already embarrass you guys once this season.

Oh they can win, sure. But senior night is most likely not it. If you want to dump KU, do it in the Big12 tournament. That one I might actually give the edge to ISU in that situation.

Buehler445 03-05-2016 08:55 AM

And in what world does McKay being a ****ing dumbass and Prohm calling him on it equate to a "rough patch with the new coach". Any time Greene does dumb shit none of us here call it a rough patch with the coach. There's a fairly large sample size. Look it up.

I'd agree we're due for a loss. I'd rather have that loss come in a meaningless game and tournament such as the conference tournament where it doesn't effect our seeding though. I'd be willing to bet Self values Senior Day more than conference tournaments. KU is locked into a 1 seed. Every year it's that way, either a 1 or a 2. No need to risk health etc to win a 4 game exhibition tournament. Thanks to winning the conference and a tough non-con every year KU has that leeway.

I know conference tournaments are ISU's thing though. They're your One Shining Moment.
