No. I never used championships as the only basis for being the GOAT, nor will I ever. Jordan has plenty of other stats and accolades that support him being the GOAT. I do see what you are trying as deep down you have to know the longevity argument is silly at best, especially considering the difference between Lebron and Jordan is like two years (as you can't count Lebron's first three years).

So championships only count for as much as MJ fans want them to count then (which inevitably is enough to exclude LeBron but not enough to exclude Russell). Interesting how that works.

Reference post #4743 for additional reasons for why Jordan and not Lebron is the GOAT outside of just championships.

Yeah, no. I'm a long-time Royals fan, but I honestly don't follow baseball anymore.

Hard to follow the Royals when they are just so bad.

As a guy who grew up in they heyday of the ABA and remembers the ABA Denver Nuggets, I hope they win it.

They had incredible talent in the mid to late 70’s.

Dan Issel, David Thompson, Gus Gerard, Marvin “The Eraser” Webster. Larry Brown coached them for several years and they were a great team. They could never get over the hump. Lost in the NBA Conference semis a half dozen times.

They were so fun to watch.

Yep, the Royals have always been a disgrace. Best to ignore that franchise, I find.

No.

YOU need to remember them forever.

The rest of us get to ignore them.

Revere. Just like his namesake from the 1700s, he was involved in a great cause, trying to stop the Royals. Unfortunately, corruption and/or incompetence outside of his own control prevented that.

Just don't see how this Heat team wins more than 1 or 2.

You're being generous giving them any. They can't stop Jokic with man-on-man defense and the zone won't work against him at all.

Miami is too small at every position against Denver.
