That might take throwing in Niemann as well.

Actually, my bad, I thought you were talking about Clark.

Yeah if you go to overthecap and use their calculator...we save money if we cut or trade Chris Jones.

$32M dead money. No cap savings.

Can't cut or trade til 2023.

Frank Clark is a goner.

Sheesh what a terrible ****ing deal and we gave up picks for it.

Yeah I know we won a SB off it but **** man.

Maybe he should have actually ****ing tried this season. Dude got what he wanted (playing DE) and he’s ****ed it completely up.

If they traded him after this year….I wouldn’t shed a ****ing tear.

The $32M is Jones.

Clark is cuttable this offseason.

Well, he kind of sort of did that "stuff" to himself.

If Jones is a June 1 cut, we save 4.25mil

If he's traded we save 15mil

Because of the roster bonus?

The group of Clark, Jones, and Reed is such a disappointment. You get the feeling that they don't really care and are happy to cash fat checks. I imagine it would be difficult for a lot of players to continue to go all out every snap and potentially put their long-term health at risk when they are already set financially.

Eureka 10-29-2021 11:50 AM

Picking a DE guy off a practice squad and giving him a chance might be a better option at this point.

Move Jones back to DT.

Make a trade for a CB or S.

They need to shake that D up somehow because it just doesn't look good at all. It's just awful.

Clark also said Chiefs have been looking ahead rather than at task at hand. "We get ahead of ourselves. The Franchise 10-29-2021 11:54 AM
