Now for the NFL, what a ****-show.

ESPN is reporting that there was only 1 "NO" vote, and it came from the Bengals. According to Zac's reaction, I totally believe it.

The situation happened, it is what it is, and we have to deal with it. But man, the Bengals potentially not even getting one home playoff game after winning a division by virtue of a coin flip is just crazy.

And, the Bengals potentially having to go to Buffalo in a Divisional round game is crap. Bengals are a decent road team and have won playoff games in the road before,, but they have been really good at home this season and I believe they just got hosed from that.

I think that if Cincy beats Balt and Buffalo loses to NE that possibly Cincy can move to the #2? Maybe you guys can explain that one to me. Regardless,,,, I'm rooting for NE to play out of their minds and get a win this week (can't believe I am saying that).

Buffalo is a good team. But really, I think they are the 3rd best team in the AFC, and maybe even worse that LAC which would put them at 4th.
KC and Cincy are better.

Going to be an interesting playoffs for sure. Mega-controversy already exists.

I hate to say it, but I hope you guys beat them 44-3.

You're correct on Cincy potentially getting the 2 seed from what I can tell. In which case I think they would play the Patriots, so they get a home game there.

Any insight/speculation from Bengals insiders on how it all went down in terms of the Bengals agreeing to or at least going with the postponement and the ensuing days of whether to play, etc?

If anyone got really screwed out of this deal, it's the Bengals.

As far as KC goes, once they win on Saturday, they are going to become the first #1 seed to NOT get both the bye and HFA (assuming the Buffalo Snowflakes beat NE).

So how exactly does this scenario benefit KC??

Any Bills fan or troll feel free to weigh in. I anxiously await your response.

Agreed. Overtime rules in playoffs? Screw KC? Sure!

Screw Buffalo? Change the rules!!!

Home field advantage calculation? Weeeeellll, the bills went through a lot, so let’s move it to a neutral site.

Anything else? No cap for the bills? Spot them 7 each game?

And btw, if I’m a bengals fan right now I’m irate.

**** the NFL's Welfare Franchise.

Okay that's good news (a slimmer of hope for the Pats to beat Buff).

Thanks!

I can't help but hope for a Ravens win this weekend, followed by them winning the toss. I want this to blow up in the NFL's face, and that would do it. No way the Bengals lose to the Ravens, though.

You're most welcome. The Bills can't earn jack shit on their own. At least I can respect the Bengals.

Except we have to play 17 games while 2 others only have to play 16.

WHY WOULD A CINCY BUFFALO GAME NOT BE ON A NEUTRAL FIELD TOO THEN...thus is complete bullshit or a coin flip? I just don't understand.

Sygerrik 01-06-2023 01:22 PM

The League is really putting in the PR work on this one. You'd think this decision was non-controversial and normal business, listening to most of the media.

Same question for Bengals/Ravens. Why not neutral? Why isn't the coin flip thing being done if it's Chiefs/Bills?

I think KC gets it regardless if they win.
