What a sad school to follow. They've almost mattered once or twice. Almost.

Conference tournaments are meaningless, but what KU did was literally make that true. We don't have to do anything else to secure the #1 overall seed. Nobody touches our resume. Enjoy the exhibition games in KC, folks. Pray for no injuries.

Pfft, a few days on a neutral court completely outweighs 2 months of double round robin games. /fans of teams that can only hope to win the tournament

Sounds like the argument MU always used to make if they ever went further than KU in the conference tourney.

Prison Bitch 03-06-2016 12:12 PM

We should skip the Big 12 Tourney and blame it on Megan Kelly.

Lol speaking of Rusty, ISU’s Deonte Burton gets Newcomer of the Year. That's 4 out of 5 years an ISU player has won the award. They should truly change their name to Iowa State Transfer University.

Tubby Smith wins Coach Of The Year by the way.

Chiefs Pantalones 03-06-2016 12:33 PM

Devonte' Graham and Frank Mason III have both been named to the All-Big 12 Defensive Team.

Ceej 03-06-2016 12:54 PM

Bracketology has WSU as a 7 seed currently, fwiw.

Our perimeter defense is atrocious.

How? If SMU didnt make is last year, how does WSU make it this year. They have ONE quality win. One. I dont care what they are in Kenpom, Kenpom is merely a predictive tool, not gauging what a team has earned. If LSU doesnt make it (they shouldnt) then WSU definitely shouldn't makd it

Sorry but Self IMO deserves coach of the year award, every year until someone knocks him off the big12 throne. But whatever that's i guess being arrogant in some eyes. But the fact that he's able to run out different starting rosters year and year when having to deal w/ 1 and dones etc, and still is able to win the league year after year in today's modern game and recruiting world and as much parody there is in men's basketball is something remarkable and probably won't be repeated by anyone else for a long...LONG time.

KC_Connection 03-06-2016 05:28 PM

No Mason on 1st team is a joke. Hope it continues to drive him. Could also argue the same about Self not being COY, but I get the reasoning.
