The Swiss beat Canada in 2006 because of Martin Gerber...it wasn't a very good time for Canadians.

I'm watching women's snowboard cross right now....none of them are able to get through the course...seemingly because of the fog. The Canadians (1st and 3rd in the world) weren't able to finish their runs.

Vancouver is turning out to be the worst winter venue ever.

Although now I'm watching NBC coverage of the biathalon. This Canadian just choked on his shot...he would have been in 1st...back to 4th...this French guy leads.

How do you start early in a timed competition? Aren't there people telling you when to start at intervals?

Scoring error. They've adjusted the time. So he's currently like 3rd on the course but 7th on the timing list.

The world #1 just crashed on her 2nd run of Snowboard Cross. All she had to do was finish basically, and she would have qualified in the top 16. She wasn't even going fast...quite the choke.
