And do as Shogun says. I know you might not think of yourself as a comic reader, but that comic is ****ing excellent. Try it out.

It appears these zombies are a little smarter than they appear? The one who went into the trailer who searched around....the ones in the church who appeared to be worshipping? Also, I thought they could smell live humans? How could they hide under the cars then?

Awesome show overall...some really strong character work going on here.

Deberg, I think since they were in a "graveyard" of death then the zombies couldn't actually pick out the live humans from all the other stench in the air.

Also at the end I was thinking "awww the deer, it is the sign from God that Rick was asking for", and then DOH!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly why it was so shocking. I'm glad I haven't read the comics, otherwise I'd have known what was coming.

The creator explained it on "Talking Dead" afterwards. Said they could smell and distinguish human from zombie, but they aren't bloodhounds who go sniffing about for their prey. On average they were probably at least 7ft. away from a zombies nose at any time(from nose to ground, then from zombies feet to middle of vehicle). A lot different than brushing shoulders with them.
