Several people on the West Coast have been swept out to sea trying to get tsunami photos. One dead in California. Four rescued in Oregon by Coast Guard.

The loss of property sucks. Tsunami's are horrible.

BUT

With all the time we had here to watch videos of the devastation in Japan, the waves hitting Hawaii and Alaska, there is no reason anyone on the West Coast died from this. There was no doubt this was coming, and no doubt something would hit.

Seems very odd that the fault is right on the yellow line.. WTF? Perhaps it's just the way the road was built?

Yeah Joe, my first thought was... that is a weird, confusing road. Then I was like WHOA, it cracked ALONG THE YELLOW LINE... wtf. heh

Well, it is safe to say that nobody will try crossing the double yellow line now.

Fixing that road is gonna be a real bitch.
